One of the most recognizable overseas Vietnamese actresses, Catherine Thuy Ai plays a leading role in Victor Vu’s FIRST MORNING. In the past she has taken on roles in such films as HEAVEN AND EARTH (directed by Oliver Stone), GREEN DRAGON (directed by Timothy Linh Bui), IN DANGEROUS COMPANY (directed by Ruben Preuss), THE BOYS IN COMPANY C (directed by Sydney Furie). Thuy Ai has made numerous appearances on television, including multiple episodes of the Emmy Award Winning CHINA BEACH (directed by Mimi Leder, Christopher Leitch, Michael Rhodes and Reyes Villabos); THE BRONZ ZOO (directed by James Quinn); “V: THE SERIES” (directed by Gil Shilton). Most recently, she took on supporting roles in several television series such as JAG, BOOMTOWN and STRONG MEDICINE.
