Dang Hung Son was born in Hanoi, Vietnam, to a family of successful merchants and artists. With the fate of a country divided, his family immigrated south to Saigon in the 60’s, then finally, to the United States in 1975. In the early 90’s, Dang became known as the Vietnamese “Clark Gable” for his charisma and chiseled good looks, starring in several Vietnamese productions, such as GAI TRO ( MVP films), BUI BOLSA (Cali Alpha Film )(1992) and FIRST LADY OF LITTLE SAIGON, Sonai Pictures (1992). Affirmed as one of the community's most beloved entertainers, he took on a lead role in Victor Vu’s award-winning short film FIRECRACKER (1997) and a supporting role in SPIRITS “OAN HON” (2004). Dang’s latest project is a title role in the feature film DUST OF LIFE.
