Kathleen Nguyen is the President of Apex Escrow, Inc., which was the first and leading escrow company for the Vietnamese Community in Southern California that bridges the gap of culture differences between the Asian approach and the American style of commerce. She turned an ailing media company, Little Saigon Radio, which was on the verge of bankruptcy to become the oldest and largest Vietnamese American radio station, broadcasting from California and Texas. Kathleen is the Editor-in-Chief of Viet Tide Newspaper, one of the most respected weekly publications in Vietnamese, winner of the New California Media Award. She also is an active advocate promoting community service and unity among Vietnamese Americans as well as helping to bring awareness on human rights issues overseas.
She was the recipient of the Presidential Service Award in 2005. |
