Moderator: Discussion 4 (Don't do it alone - partner up!)
Priscilla Goodwin joined Fox 26 News in September 2006.
Her career began in her hometown of Los Angeles where she worked on the assignments desk and promotions department at KNBC.
Her first on-air job was as a morning anchor and reporter for KWES in Midland/Odessa. Moving to West Texas was a huge transition for this Southern California native, but it was the first step in what would turn out to be a fulfilling career.
She then spent over three years as an anchor and reporter at KSEE in Fresno, California. She returned to Texas in 2004 to work for KPRC/NBC in Houston before joining the Fox 26 News team.
Priscilla earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology at UCLA.
Priscilla has come to love the people of Houston because of their diverse cultures and rich Texas traditions. Having married a native Houstonian last October, Priscilla now proudly counts herself a Houstonian and a Texan. In fact, Priscilla likes Houston so much; she decided to run around the city for 26.2 miles in the Houston marathon. Twice! She's looking forward to the next one.
Priscilla is an active member of Houston's First Baptist Church and volunteers at a center that helps pregnant teens and women in crisis. She is proud of her Chinese culture and remains involved in Houston's growing Asian community. |
