Panelist: Discussion 1 (Captivating the Audience)
Quoc-Binh Nguyen founded Vietnamese Voices Overseas in 2000, a media production company, to counter negative coverage of the Vietnamese in mainstream media. He’s a member of the Board of Directors of Houston’s WTP-TV Channel 17. He also contributes regularly as a producer for Voice of America and CNN International.
Formerly, he served as an advisory board member for International Affairs for Congressman Chris Bell. Quoc-Binh served for four years on the Houston and Harris County Advisory Board on Vietnamese Ballot and three years on the Socio-Economic Development Planning for the city of Houston. He was elected Vice President of the Vietnamese Community of Houston & Vicinity from 2004-06. He is currently the chairman of Vietnamese American Public Affairs Committee (VPAC) in Houston.
Quoc-Binh has an MBA/MHA from University of Houston, Clearlake. |
